This is a super simple and quick dip you can whip up last minute, and give your pals something a little more exciting than your average chips & salsa… Even though some salsas are pretty darn good!
INGREDIENTS
1 can of black beans, drained
6 oz crumbled feta cheese
2 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1 tbsp sour cream
pinch of salt
dash of hot sauce (optional)
STEPS
1. In a food processor, blend together the cream cheese, sour cream, salt, and half of the crumbled feta for 1-2 minutes until relatively smooth.
2. Drain the black beans and add them to the mix, along with the rest of the feta. Blend for another 30-45 seconds until the dip is well incorporated but has some texture. You want to be able to tell there are black beans and tangy feta in there!

3. Transfer to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap, allowing the dip to hang out in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to thicken up a bit.
4. Time to serve! Garnish the top with a few extra black beans and a crumble or two of feta, just for good measure. I had some pretzels on hand that were a delight with the dip, but you can choose your favorite!
