As the weather warms up and summer draws closer, many outdoorsmen and women find themselves between hunting seasons. Fast-forward 20+ years, and we still hunt and fish together on a regular basis, whether we are on the boat trolling for flounder in local saltwater creeks, or chasing free range red stag across the Andes in Patagonia. From the duck blind to the deer stand and all of the dove fields in between, some of my most cherished memories of all time were spent with good ol’ Otis in the outdoors.

Another favorite activity of ours is getting together with other family and friends to share a meal – a meal prepared with our own fish or game from a hunt together. Thankfully, I’ve also married into a family full of great outdoorsmen, so there is no shortage of hunting stories (and subsequent game in the freezer) around our family get-togethers.
